Brazilian artist Caio Reisewitz is known for his engaging art and political activism. He has now filled the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion with native Brazilian plants in an installation addressing Brazil's urgent problems. These include the destruction of the Amazon, the dismantling of public mechanisms responsible for protecting and appreciating the environment, and the cultural elimination and genocide of the native population. The installation's title comes from the thoughts of activist shamans Davi Kopenawa and Ailton Krenak who advocate a more harmonious relationship with the earth. The artist Caio Reisewitz underscores this with the message that nature is now our home.
